Togo : Economic meeting with Tunisia from September 11
The Tunisian-African Business Council (TABC), a Tunisian entity responsible for promoting investment and Tunisian companies in Africa, will be on an economic mission to Togo, from 11 to 15 September.
This mission, a first of its kind, will be in partnership with the Togolese Ministry of Investment Promotion, the Agency for the Promotion of Investment and the Free Zone, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Togo, we specify.
It will include assessing the strengths of Togo as a land of investment, and explore the opportunities available.
The country is highlighted because of its "particularly advantageous geostrategic position in West Africa," as a transit point for several of its landlocked neighbors including Burkina Faso, Niger and Mali, and also on the Abidjan-Lagos axis, ensuring rapid communication with its coastal neighbors (Benin, Nigeria, Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire).
"Togo is also a growth rate of 5.3%, a port and a world-class airport, which make the country a regional hub of the first rank, political stability and the first banking sector in West Africa in terms of number of headquarters, "added TABC.
Togo will therefore host this Sunday, September 11, a delegation of twenty Tunisian investors. The meeting will facilitate an exchange of investment opportunities between the two countries, promote B to B sessions and company visits.
